Ada and Jo looked at one another before dragging the beaten body of Rikku out of the building and placing her on the streets, right in the open maybe to scare of a few women into not fighting anyone thinking it would happen to them. ?I believe we have a few more hours left till the heat begins to rise I say that we head and find some more supplies...? Jo stated to Ada who looked at her and sighed. ?Sure but I have to head back to our place for a moment you can go on ahead.? Ada told Jo who was not sure if it was such a good idea to be splitting up but didn?t give it another thought as she walked off to find more supplies.
About half an hour passed as Rikku hadn?t even regained consciousness, but to her luck a young women she had meet before named Mina (I was calling her Mia in the last chapter) walked up to her friend, at first Mina didn?t know who the girl was but once she turned her around she could tell by the outfit and the hair who the girl was but she was covered in blood and he face looked awful she had been beaten down quite bad.

Mina showing some of her above average strength for her size was able to lift Rikku onto her shoulders as she walked back to her ?house? once there she laid Rikku on a bed that happened to be there the girl was still out of it and Mina didn?t have anything to treat her with she would be fine over time but Mina wished she could find something to help her some kind of medicine anything.

Mina started to pace around the small room as her stomach started to growl as she forgot why she even went out which was to find food and water. Moments later Rikku eyes opened but she quickly noticed that her eye has swollen up and she was unable to open her eye completely, though she heard someone else in the room. ?I can still fight, if you want to fight I can.? Rikku said in a soft voice it seemed as if she could hardly talk.

Mina walked over and grabbed her hand, Rikku wanted to pull her hand back but her brain signals didn?t work she asked her arm to move but it refused. ?Shh Rikku it?s me Mina, we meet earlier I found you in the streets you were beat up pretty badly.? Rikku broke a smile which took all her strength. ?I got... jumped by two ladies?..they took all the supplies?? Rikku then passed out once more she was unable to take the pain anymore Rikku had never felt so much pain that even the slightest movement caused her intense pain.
Mina let go of her hand and placed it on her chest before giving Rikku a sigh. ?I?ll fix you up Rikku I promise.? Mina didn?t know why she enjoyed this girl she reminded her of herself I guess but she really found herself needing to help this girl they may be enemies in the battlefield but being jumped and left to possibly die out there was enough to upset Mina.

Mina had no idea where she was going or who she would meet. Hours passed and still no food or water or anything, until she saw a older woman in a red dress walking out of a building she was cussing someone?s name, but Mina couldn?t hear who it was, Mina wanted for the women to leave eye distance before she started to head up the building it was quite small, a bit smaller then the place she had found but it was stacked with a few supplies. ?Was that someone who jumped Rikku?? Mina asked herself as she saw a laptop on the ground it was open but it simply said on the screen ?Can?t find signal? Mina didn?t know what they were trying to do but did notice some pain killers in the med kit

Mina grabbed them up and then took two bottles of water and some food as she started to sneak out of the house she looked around she heard two women talking so Mina quickly jumped back into the house as the two women got closer, Mina started to panic a bit trying to find a hiding spot, she then jumped into a room in the building it was dark and seemed to be unused by the women, Mina saw a window and walked over and opened it she was about to jump out when she heard the women enter the room she was previously in.

Mina wanted to know what they were up to so she snuck back to the door and placed her hear on it as she started to hear the two women talk. ?Hmm well on our way back here I didn?t see the red head I guess she had more strength in her then I thought.? Said Jo who looked around and saw the place was untouched though it did seem a bit empty but Jo just figured that Ada had pigged out while she was out.

?No way, that girl couldn?t have that much strength someone either found her and helped her or finished her off either way I don?t think we will be seeing her again.? Said Ada who looked at the med kit which looked to be touched. ?Jo did you get anything from the med kit?? Asked Ada who looked back at Jo who gave a simple shake of the head giving Ada the feeling that someone had been in this house recently, Ada would have to figure out who this person was because now they were a threat to them.

Mina jumped up quickly like a cat and ran to the window she dove out of it, she was scared if she stayed there any longer she would be noticed, but once Mina was out and walking though the streets on more she was able to think. ?So they did hurt Rikku, someone needs to teach them a lesson.? Mina said as she took a drink of the water she had stolen as she noticed that it was getting hotter and hotter just like last night, this place was weird and Mina was unsure if she would survive this place given the fact of her limited supplies so far.

Mina was finally back at her house as she walked up stairs to find Rikku now sitting up in her bed, Mina gave a soft smile and moved closer and gave a water bottle to Rikku along with two pain pills. ?Glad to see you?re alive.? Rikku didn?t respond as she took the water and drank the pain pills, she looked at Mina and wanted to die. ?You must think I?m weak huh? I wouldn?t blame ya.? Rikku said as Mina gave a laugh at her. ?Not at all I actually saw the two women who beat ya, it looked like they were trained for that sort of thing.?
Mina then gave Rikku an assuring hug which Rikku responded by giving an ear shattering scream. ?OUCH!? Rikku yelled and Mina jumped back. ?Oh your still hurt, whoop I didn?t even think, I?m sorry Rikku.? Rikku who was a girl to get upset easily simply smiled it off not wanting to get into a fight the thanking the girl for saving her life, well maybe not her life but who knows things could have went wrong.

?So did you end up fighting them, I mean what happened?? Rikku asked. ?Nah I snuck into there place and stole this stuff it was full of supplies more then I thought they could get in one day.? Mina said with a sigh as Rikku simply looked at the ground. ?Ya the place I found had a lot of supplies I shouldn?t have went there alone, dangit I wanna turn back time I know I could beat them.? Rikku knew it wouldn?t happen two on one just wasn?t good odds.

But both women were shocked once they heard clapping coming from behind them. ?Oh yes, you could really beat us up, oh your so great what was that title again... oh yea the greastest getting there *** kicked ever...did I mention you got your *** kicked.? said jo who walked out of the corner followed by Ada both women acted like they were clapping for the two young women. ?You know Jo she was kicking your *** before I stepped up and helped.? Jo looked back at her and hissed. ?At least I didn?t get my foot stuck in a wall.?
Mina looked at them and wondered what they were doing this is what trained fighters are like. ?Look just leave, she was hurt I wanted to save her be humans for a second and just leave I don?t want trouble I just wanna help my friend!? Ada looked over and Jo as they looked back at Mina once more. ?Well were trained to not have emotions and simply put we like kicking little girls *****.? Ada stated as Mina stepped into a fighting stance.

Rikku wasn?t to be left out as she got up off the bed and got into a fighting stance everyone was shocked at Rikku that was till her legs gave out and she hit the floor with a hard thud. ?Dammit.? Is all Rikku said as he body once more gave out, mina looked over at Rikku and smiled. ?Don?t worry Rikku after this it will be those two who will be out the floor about to pass out I promise you that.? Rikku used the last of her strength to grab Mina?s leg. ?Don?t please Mina, don?t fight leave me if they wanna fight me and beat me again its ok just don?t get yourself hurt I?m not worth it.? Rikku asked Mina who simply looked at Rikku and picked her up and placed her on the bed again. ?Stay here and wait.?

Ada and Jo both looked at each other one more time and laughed. ?Well at least this time the red head gets to see the beating from the outside instead of being the one beaten I bet she has flashbacks of her beating.? Ada said with a laugh as Jo nodded her head in agreement, as now the talking was over and the battle was on the horizon.
Trying to use numbers to their advantage, Ada and Jo both charged in at Mina, who knew that her only chance was to separate the two. Jo ran in with her hand cocked in a striking position ready to deliver a blow to Mina?s face, but she ducked and Jo stumbled past her. Mina then brought herself up, raising her knee into Ada?s stomach, winding her temporarily. Mina then flipped around delivering a devastating kick to Jo?s face, which sent her reeling to the floor. Hoping that blow would keep Jo down for a while, Mina turned her attention to Ada, who was back on her. Ada threw a flurry of punches at Mina, who dodged them, grabbed Ada?s hair and slammed her face first into the side of a wall.

Before deciding to press her advantage, Mina cast a quick glance towards Jo, who was still groggy on the floor. She then grabbed Ada by the hair, and continually slammed her face into the wall until some minor blood stains were on the wall. She released Ada, watching her groggy body stumble seemingly aimlessly. Mina jumped up, and timing the blow perfectly, smashed her foot into Ada?s chin, knocking her to the ground.


Remembering the second opponent, she turned her attention back to Jo, who was now starting to stand up. Mina darted forward, and with a sickening thud, rammed her knee into Jo?s head, sending her back to the ground. Much to Mina?s surprise though, she was spun around by Ada, who seemingly recovered from her assault quickly, and felt a fist smash into her mouth, sending her staggering to her knees. Mina retaliated with a swift kick to Ada?s stomach, drawing a gasp from her lips as well as a mouthful of blood. She stood up, and turned to Rikku who was watching with a somewhat frightened expression. Mina smiled, flexing her arm toward Rikku who broke a grim smile from the weakened woman. Rikku desperately wished she could help, but she knew that she would only get in the way if she tried. Mina seemed to be doing well on her own anyway.

When Mina turned around to face her opponents though, Ada was standing, albeit looking a bit weak. Gasping between breaths, she muttered out ?you? bitch? you don?t? know who you?re? messing with.?

Mina, now feeling confident, marched forward towards her foe, and expecting her to be drained, threw a lazy punch aimed at her face. Ada blocked the blow with her arm, and in a surprisingly display, jumped up and kicked Mina in the chest, sending her in a heap to the ground. Mina looked up at Ada, who was now standing over her, and pulling her by the hair, picked a yelling Mina up and began to deliver massive strikes to her face. Rikku watched in horror as her friend?s face flew helplessly from side to side as each of Ada?s fist connected. She couldn?t help but remember what Ada and Jo had done to her earlier, and suddenly her mind was filled the pain of the events that she had endured. She closed her eyes and gritted her teeth, trying to shut the images out. Unfortunately, this offered no help to her friend.

Mina, beginning to feel groggy from the blows, ducked down and rose up delivering a strike to Ada?s throat, stopping her offence. The two took a quick send to regroup, and then both began to throw fists at each others face. Some hit, some missed as the two stood toe to toe, yelping and screaming as they tried to behead the other. Mina, still hungry and weakened, began to fall behind as Ada began to connect more blows. What started as an equal battle had become Mina?s face receiving strikes. Noting Mina?s weakening body; Ada shoved her against the wall drawing a cry from Mina?s now bloodied mouth. Desperate, she raised her arms to protect her face, Ada took the chance to deliver some heavy blows into Mina?s stomach. Mina gasped for air, but her lungs struggled to bring oxygen in as Ada pounded her aching ribs and stomach. Mina felt herself beginning to fade as her body toppled onto Ada?s shoulder. What she didn?t see was Jo standing up. Rikku tried to warn her friend, but Mina only heard a woman?s voice, unable to make out what she was saying. Ada shoved Mina back, and simultaneously, Jo and Ada raised their knees, Ada?s connecting with Mina?s stomach, Jo?s her lower back. The sound of the two?s knee?s connecting with Mina?s bare midsection created a crunching sound, as Mina collapsed in a heap.

Anaylzing her beaten foe, Ada spit on Mina?s bloodied face. Rikku watched, now terrified as Mina lay helpless on the floor. Jo grabbed Rikku from her bed, and violently threw her to the floor, drawing a cry from the wounded girl. Mina?s eye?s looked weakly at her, almost apologetic. Rikku nodded invisibly, and the two almost formed a connection, as if to say everything would be alright. Mina tried to crawl over to protect her friend, but didn?t have the strength, drawing a laugh from Jo and Ada.

?Pathetic?, Ada laughed, as she hauled Mina up, only to toss her corpse on top of Rikku so that their belly?s connected. The impact was enough to knock both weakened women unconscious.
